This winter sees the first ever series of classes in the studio. Take your pick from beginner weaving to using colour, from patterns to inspiration, working alongside others in a small group (maximum of six people) to learn the fascinating craft and art of weaving.

Sometimes colour can be daunting but it need not be! Join this workshop to look at how you can use an inspiration source to choose colours and textures for your project.
Saturday 18th July – Design a warp – 10am to 3pm (Refreshments and light lunch included) $100
There is plenty to think about before any weaving actually begins. Join this workshop to learn the basics of designing a warp.

Let’s start at the very beginning! The basics of weaving. Suitable for most ages.
WEEKEND 5th and 6th September – Wind a warp and dress a loom – 10am to 3pm both days (Refreshments and light lunches included)
Learn how to make a warp and how to get those pesky threads onto a loom!

WEEKEND 17th and 18th October – Weave a scarf – 10am to 3pm both days (Refreshments and light lunches included)

Using previously-warped looms weave a scarf in two days.
